Keymer began in 1932 as a small furniture factory. Gradually, the upholstery fabrics used by this Dutch company became renowned for their high quality. This led to growing demand from furniture makers and interior designers. Over the years, Keymer became a leading player in the field of upholstery fabrics. Thanks to this specialisation, Keymer was also better able to respond to new trends and technologies relating to upholstery fabrics. As a result, Keymer has also built up an international reputation. In recent years, Keymer has undertaken an increasing number of initiatives to make fabric production more sustainable, for example by using recycled materials and reducing waste. Unfortunately, Keymer went into liquidation in 2025. A number of its collections were taken over by other companies.

The latest collections from Keymer feature authentic patterns and a wide variety of colours. All the fabrics, whether intended for a classic or modern interior, are designed to last.
