Applicability of the General Terms and Conditions Stof voor Design - Upholstery Fabrics Outlet
The General Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, contracts and deliveries of Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet to the purchaser (private individuals/businesses), unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Goods to be supplied by Stof voor Design - Upholstery Fabrics Outlet
Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet supplies remnants of luxury (furniture/curtain/decorative) fabrics and other interior design items, available for sale following the completion of projects, on an ‘as-is’ basis.
Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet cannot be held responsible for (colour) variations resulting from screen quality or differences in colour or weave, such as dye lots.
The stated dimensions of the fabrics are approximate measurements, the exact dimensions may vary slightly (no more than a few centimetres).
Our data for articles and prices on the website and in our online shop are not binding.
Prices
All prices quoted include 21% VAT and exclude any delivery charges.
Order
An order placed with Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet is final once the buyer has completed the following steps:
The customer has added the product(s) to their shopping basket
2. All invoice details have been completed in full and truthfully by the buyer
3. The customer has selected a shipping method.
If the buyer has selected the option “Collect from Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet” option, we will contact you to ask when you will be collecting the product(s) (collection must take place no later than 1 week after placing the order)
4. The buyer has selected a payment method
5. The buyer has checked their details and agreed to our terms and conditions.
6. The buyer has made the payment (via IDEAL, Bancontact, PayPal or Credit Card)
7. The buyer then receives a purchase confirmation from us.
8. The sales contract is concluded when Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet confirms delivery of the items to the buyer. Confirmation of receipt of the order does not constitute acceptance on our part. Typing and calculation errors in our order confirmation entitle us to cancel the order. Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet may also decide not to fulfil an order if the product ordered is no longer available. In such cases, any purchase price already paid will be refunded to the buyer immediately.
Submit
Goods will only be made available or dispatched to the customer (private individuals/businesses) once the purchaser (private individuals/businesses) has fulfilled their payment obligation. In the event of dispatch, the buyer (private individuals/business) shall provide their address and billing details to Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet.
Rugs are not shipped and must be collected by the buyer.
Delivery to a PO box or poste restante is not possible.

This is possible within one week of placing your order at Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet in Amersfoort, by appointment only (including evenings and Saturdays). -
Shipping of goods within the Netherlands:
Shipping of fabrics within the Netherlands costs €7.25 for standard shipping. - Shipping of fabrics to Belgium, France and Germany:
Shipping of fabrics to Belgium, France and Germany costs €15.00. - Shipping of fabrics to Denmark, Italy, Luxembourg, Austria and Spain:
Shipping of fabrics to Denmark, Italy, Luxembourg, Austria and Spain costs £25.00. - Shipping of other interior items within and outside the Netherlands:
Shipping costs on request (depending on product/country). Rugs will not be shipped and must be collected by the buyer.
Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet aims to dispatch orders within 3 days of receiving payment. Should dispatch be delayed due to our absence, this will be stated on the website under the heading “Notice: Orders will be dispatched on …”.
The purchaser (private individuals/businesses) will receive the dispatch code from Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet shortly after dispatch.
The risk of loss or damage to the products passes to the buyer as soon as the customer has received the delivery. Information regarding delivery times is only binding if it is confirmed in writing.
Customer goods/complaints control (private individuals/businesses)
The goods must be inspected by the buyer (private individuals/businesses) immediately after receipt (such as colour, dimensions, and any fabric defects) and before they are processed by the buyer (private individuals/business).
Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet accepts no liability for any costs incurred during or after the processing of the fabric. The fabrics and other interior design items are supplied “as is”.
Exchanges and returns: private individuals
Fabrics cut to size for private individuals by Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet cannot be exchanged or returned. When determining the exact number of meters of a fabric, Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet sometimes makes an estimate, and this number of meters is stated on the website. Fabrics sold by the meter cannot be exchanged or returned.
All other fabrics and interior design items dispatched to the consumer by Stof voor Design – Remnants Design Furniture Fabrics may be returned to Stof voor Design within 14 days of receipt by the consumer – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet, at the private individual's own risk and expense. The private individual must notify info@stofvoordesign.nl by e-mail on behalf of Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet before the return shipment takes place. Once the goods have been duly received by Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet, the costs paid by the private individual to Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet (the purchase price, plus any delivery charges if the full (when the shipment is returned) will be refunded to the private individual within approx. 10 days.
Any fabrics and other interior design items collected from Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet cannot be exchanged or returned by the private individual. This also applies to, amongst other things, the rugs, which are not dispatched.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this agreement within 14 days without giving a reason (if this applies, see the preceding article). The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party nominated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, there are two possibilities:
1. You must inform Stof voor Design – Restant Design Furniture Fabrics of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement sent by email or post. You may use the model form below for this purpose.
2. You can use the button on the website “Cancel my purchase”. After filling in the required information, you must then press send.
You will then receive a confirmation of your cancellation from Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet within 3 days of the receipt of this notice.
Exchange/Return of Goods: Businesses
All goods (including both made-to-measure fabrics and pre-cut pieces of a fixed size, as well as other interior design items) supplied by Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet to the trader, whether collected in person or delivered by post, cannot be exchanged or returned.
Complaints
Complaints must be reported in writing by the client (private individuals/businesses), with a clear statement of the reason, to info@stofvoordesign.nl. Stof voor Design – Upholstery Fabrics Outlet will respond to your complaint in writing within 7 days at the latest.
