Pierre Frey is renowned for its high-quality and luxurious fabrics, carpets, wallpaper and furniture. The brand says it draws inspiration from, amongst other things, the 18the centuries of French art, history and ethnic cultures from around the world.
The designs combine patterns and materials with a distinct “French style”.
It is a family business that has been in the same hands for three generations.
In the 1990s, the company acquired the textile firms Braquenié, Boussac, Fadini Borghi and Le Manach, thereby significantly expanding its range of styles.
The brand uses a wide range of materials, including cotton, linen, wool, silk and velvet. There are also embroidered fabrics, damasks and jacquards.
These luxurious fabrics are used for, amongst other things, upholstery, curtains and wall hangings.
